We make our best effort every year to provide our students with the best computer facilities.

 

The Linux/Windows Laboratory (M-110) has 32 PCs IBM/Lenovo Thinkcentre workstations connected to the computer network. This Lab is used mainly for teaching  programming courses. Also, The lab is equipped with a multimedia projector and a PC for the professor.

 

The Windows lab-1 (M-121) is used to support programming courses. It has 16 PCs (Windows XP Pro) connected to the Windows network and 1 HP printer. This lab is used mainly for word processing, C++ and internet.

The Windows lab-2 (M-112) is used to support computer literacy, mathematics and statistics courses. It has 24 PCs (Windows XP Pro) connected to the Windows network. This lab is used mainly for practice quizzes, word processing, internet and Minitab.

The Statistics Lab (M-119) is used for teaching statistics and computer literacy courses. It has 22 PCs all connected to the windows network running Windows XP Pro. The lab is equipped with a multimedia projector and a PC for the professor.

The HPCF Visualization Laboratory (M-118) is a part of distributed Visualization Laboratory of the High Performance Computing of the University of Puerto Rico. This Lab is used to support the academic and research initiatives of our teaching community using modern visualization and High Performance Computing techniques. The Lab is equipped with 8 Dell Precision Linux workstations, 2 - HP zx6000 Linux workstations, 1 SGI Octane and 1 HP printer.

The Quizzes Lab (M-315) is used by the students to take the online real quizzes. It has 40 HP PCs connected to the windows network running Windows XP PRO with the last version of Microsoft Internet Explorer browser to get access to the Quizzes System.
